CIMA Qualification - Progression
You can’t start the professional levels until you have achieved the first certificate level of CIMA study. If you would like to achieve the CIMA London qualification should, then work through operational and management levels of the course. The strategic level can only be worked on after operational and management sections have been completed, at which point all three strategic papers must be taken together. The final Professional Competence Case Study can only be done once the Strategic level is finished.
CIMA Entry Requirements
If you have a degree (especially an accounting or finance related one), you may be able to skip the certificate level. Otherwise you generally need to go for your CIMA certificate course level first. There are other methods of starting at a higher CIMA level if you have an MBA or AAT training.
