AIA Exams

The Association of International Accountants (AIA) qualification consists of 16 exams, each one of which is three hours in length. The exams are available for you to sit in November and May of each year. The AIA exams are arranged in three levels:
(1) Foundation Level
(2) Professional Levels 1, and
(3) Professional Level 2

AIA Foundation Level exams focus on examining a candidate’s knowledge of the principles of accounting.

Official Recognition for the AIA
In February 2012, the Association of International Accountants (AIA) achieved recognition and acceptance from the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) for their Certificated Examinations at Levels 5, 6, and 7. This has made AIA the first professional accountancy body to submit their qualifications and to be awarded a higher level rating.

The AIA Level 5 QCF Certificate in Accountancy, based on the AIA Foundation standard examination papers, is now equal to a Diploma standard attained through Higher Education.
