ACA Qualification (ICAEW) - Accounting Courses in the UK & London

The ACA qualification in accounting is provided by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). It is a very well respected accountancy qualification, especially if you want to get ahead in British business.

ACA Course Structure
The ACA training providers in London and the UK offer a course structure that is made up of two stages – professional and advanced.
Within the professional level there are 2 modules: Knowledge and Application.
Professional stage - Knowledge module

The advanced case study helps you understand complex business problems by analysing data upon which you need to exercise your business judgement to come up with conclusions and suggestions for how to progress.
ACA Accounting Course Requirements
Before taking an ACA qualification course, you will need to be registered with the ICAEW. You will need to have a training agreement and secured work experience in accountancy to get membership.
The only other requirements are at least 2 A levels and three GCSEs or be AAT qualified.
ACA Exams
ACA accounting examinations for the knowledge phase are done by online assessment and take 1.5 hours. The ACA London qualification exams for the application phase is done via a 2.5 hour paper based exam. The advanced stage technical integration is done by a paper based exam that takes 3.5 hours and the advanced case study takes 4 hours by paper.
