AAT Course Requirements
The AAT accounting course is designed to teach accounting principles from scratch so no formal educational requirements are needed to study for the AAT qualification. If you possess relevant qualifications, then you may enter the course at a higher level which will considerably reduce the time taken at around a year for each level.
AAT exams consist of a combination of practical assessments and exams with the option of taking part in computer based assessments as opposed to paper tests which are only available in June and December. CBAs are available all year round and exams take three hours to complete electronically or otherwise.
